Web Design
It’s rare to find a firm that can provide a beautiful design that accomplishes business goals as well.
Most lean heavily towards the aesthetic, weighing a site down with unnecessary Flash, animation and useless embellishments that lead to slow-loading, ineffective sites that win awards but not business.
On the other side you have firms that are bottom line driven, but often at the expense of beauty. Indeed, the web is riddled with sites that are functional but hard to look at.
Intentionally works very hard to straddle the line between pretty and purpose. Our sites are attractive and help enhance your brand without getting in the way of the user or losing site of business objectives.
Our designs tend to be cleaner, simpler - everything on the page exists for a reason to support the overall goal of the site. Anything extraneous is stripped away.
Redefining Beauty in Web Design
We love beautiful design online, but we define beautiful design a little bit differently than most.
Beauty is when the page is structured to strike a balance between user needs and business goals. Beauty is when the typography has perfect leading and kerning. Beauty is design details that help elements of a page stand out without getting in the way. Beauty doesn’t try to make everything on a page “pop” - it makes the right things stand out at the right time.
Intentionally is meticulous about enforcing our definition of beauty on our projects - we want every pixel in the right place, every drop shadow perfectly positioned, every color to work with the overall palette, every photo to be placed and tweaked just so.
Designing For Business Goals
That said, design works best when it accomplishes your goals. Rather than being a firm that goes into a project hoping a user will think “wow, whoever designed that site is fantastic”, we want them to think “wow, that site did exactly what I was wanting it to.” Only when a site is designed this way does it maximize its potential for users and for you.
